Sustainable Packaging
When you order from Origin Health, what arrives at your door matters as much as what's inside the bottle. We've spent time sourcing packaging materials that are genuinely better for the environment — not just marketed that way. Everything we use is either recyclable, compostable, or both, and most of it is made right here in New Zealand.
Paper Fragile Labels
Our fragile labels are made from kraft crepe paper with a natural rubber adhesive. Because there's no plastic in the construction, they can be recycled along with the cardboard box they're attached to. FSC certified. 100% recyclable and compostable.
Eco Paper Labelopes
Our paper labelopes use a paper backing and natural rubber adhesive — no plastic, no synthetic glue. They recycle in the same stream as the cardboard they're applied to. FSC certified and ISO 9001 approved. 100% recyclable and compostable.
Eco Paper Packaging Tape
Our packaging tape is made from paper with a natural rubber adhesive. It's fully recyclable alongside the box it seals, unlike conventional plastic tape which contaminates cardboard recycling. 100% recyclable and compostable.
Bubble Wrap (30% Recycled Content)
Our glass bottles need protection in transit — bubble wrap is the only material that does the job reliably. We use P10 Eco bubble wrap, manufactured in New Zealand with a minimum of 30% recycled content. It's recyclable through the Soft Plastics Recycling Programme. 100% recyclable (not compostable).
Kraft Cardboard Boxes
Our cartons are made in New Zealand from FSC certified board — virgin kraft on the outside, recycled corrugations and liner on the inside. 100% recyclable and compostable.
Brown Kraft Paper Roll
We wrap our glass products in brown kraft paper rolls, made in New Zealand. Simple, effective, and fully compostable. 100% recyclable and compostable.
Compostable Courier Bags
Our courier bags are made from natural cornstarch and other plant-based materials, printed with non-toxic water-based ink. Unlike "biodegradable" bags that break into microplastics, these fully decompose in a composting system — home compostable (AS5810) and commercially compostable (AS4736) certified. 100% recyclable and compostable.
